Job Title: Financial Operations Manager

The role of a Financial Operations Manager is a crucial one, involving the management and oversight of daily accounting operations. This includes preparing financial statements, maintaining general ledgers, managing accounts payable and receivable, and resolving discrepancies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and overseeing accounting operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
  • Preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Maintaining general ledgers and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and credit control.
  • Resolving discrepancies and errors in financial records.
  • Supervising a team of accountants and providing guidance on accounting practices and procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Participating in fiscal audits and providing support to external auditors as needed.


Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies and errors.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to guide and motivate a team of accountants.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
