Job Description:

The primary function of this role is to oversee and maintain the financial integrity of our organization. This involves preparing, examining and analyzing accounting records, financial statements and other financial reports as per accounting standards.

Key responsibilities include reconciling general ledger accounts, maintaining bills from vendors, checking, getting approval and coordinating for their payments to be done, and procuring bank statements monthly from all banks and preparing reconciliation statements.

This position requires a strong background in finance and accounts, with experience in reconciliation and analysis of general ledger accounts. The ideal candidate will also have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues.

  • Prepare, examine and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports as per accounting standards.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts I.e. payables and receivable
  • Maintain bills from vendors, checking, getting approval and coordinating for their payments to be done
  • Procure bank statements monthly from all banks and prepare reconciliation statements.
  • Monthly/Quarterly/half yearly / annual compliances and payments of GST/TDS/other as per applicable laws

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Finance or Accounting, preferably with relevant certifications (CA/CS).
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the finance industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple deadlines and priorities.
