Job Role

We are seeking a skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our core technology team. As part of this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend services that drive our tech-enabled supply chain platform.

Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining RESTful APIs and web services to enable seamless communication between the frontend and backend systems and various services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data models and database schemas to support application features.
  • Develop and maintain Java-based backend applications for our supply chain software products.
  • Create clean, efficient, and maintainable code with a focus on performance and scalability.
  • Perform code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality code.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Java and NoSQL-based databases.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, and SQL and/or NoSQL technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to build a significant module or sub-module from scratch in a previous role.
  • Experience managing a team of at least 3 developers.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
