Senior Quality Assurance Professional Role

A Senior Quality Assurance Professional is responsible for executing manual and automated testing to ensure software products meet regulatory and functional requirements.

The role involves designing, reviewing, and executing test cases, as well as documenting results.

This individual leads quality assurance efforts, implements automation frameworks (if knowledgeable in Automation), and ensures high-quality releases while maintaining regulatory compliance.

  • Develop and execute manual and/or automated test cases for software applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, system, performance, and security testing.
  • Validate compliance with industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with development teams, stakeholders, and regulatory groups.
  • Track and report defects.
  • Execute SQL queries to validate database integrity.
  • Conduct API testing.
  • Maintain test documentation.
  • Design and execute test plans.
  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks.
  • Lead quality assurance strategy and defect management.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a tenacious attention to detail.
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills.
  • Agile Testing, Testing Lifecycle knowledge & Scrum Methodologies.
  • Experience working with Test Management Tools.
  • Advanced skills in Manual & Automation Testing.
  • Performance Testing.
  • API Testing & Automation design.
  • Risk-Based Testing.

Additional Information
  • 5+ years of working experience in the clinical research/trials domain is desirable.
  • Software development experience is beneficial.
  • Automation using Java/Selenium, Python, Cypress, Playwright is a plus.
  • Robotframework, JMeter knowledge is a plus.
