Test Assurance Specialist

The role of Controls Testing Lead involves the development and execution of controls testing plans. This includes identifying, prioritizing, and communicating testing activities to key stakeholders.
The incumbent will be responsible for developing assurance methodologies, collaborating with assurance functions across lines of defense, and providing guidance on control testing methodologies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the development of testing methodologies, risk universe, and integrated reporting.
- Planning and executing control tests, including coordinating review processes and managing control testing analysts.
- Preparing reports reflecting results of work performed and advising on appropriate solutions and remediation activities.
- Presenting results to senior management to secure buy-in and agreement to action.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Personal integrity, strong oral and written communication skills, influencing skills, and gravitas.
- A commercial and pragmatic approach to governance and change, problem-solving abilities, and collaboration skills.
- Experience in scoping, executing, and reporting access management control testing, adept at queries and report writing.
- Proven ability to identify key risks and influence improvements in the control environment.
- Education to degree level, 4+ years' experience in information security controls assurance or IT audit, and experience working in a global environment.
