Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in software development and quality processes to drive our organization's quality strategy.
About You:
- You will be responsible for leading quality audits, process improvements, risk management, and compliance within a Tier-1 environment.
- You will act as Assessment Team Member (ATM) in CMMI certification journeys and lead/participate in ISO 9001 & CMMI audits.
- You will define, implement, and monitor software development quality processes in line with CMMI for Development, Agile, and Waterfall.
- You will ensure alignment with ISO 9001, CMMI, and related frameworks; conduct internal/external quality audits.
- You will identify, assess, and mitigate software-related risks throughout the SDLC.
- You will drive process enhancements, corrective actions, and adoption of best practices across teams.
Candidate Requirements:
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in the software industry, with at least 75% of career in Tier-1 firms.
- A strong background in software development, preferably product companies or IT services.
- A bachelor's degree in BE/BTech, started career as a software developer with hands-on coding experience.
- Certifications in CMMI Assessment Team Member and ISO Lead Assessor preferred.
