Supervisor - Institutional Client Reporting Specialist

Job Summary:The Supervisor - Institutional Client Reporting will be responsible for ensuring compliance with department policies and procedures and internal control requirements. This role will oversee the daily, monthly, and periodic work completed by the team, ensuring that deadlines are met with the highest quality standards. The Supervisor will also drive efficiencies through innovation and automation, address queries, provide training/cross-training, perform regular internal checks, and assist in maintaining the business governance model.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the team to ensure timely and accurate client reporting.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
- Collaborate with the Manager/Director to ensure appropriate workflow planning is completed for the team.
- Address client queries independently and solve complex reporting challenges.
- Lead training of staff on client reporting policies and processes.
- Motivate and challenge staff to higher levels of performance.
- Ensure staff performance issues are resolved and provide career feedback.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews and identify development paths.
- Develop and implement controls to identify operational risk and control problems.
- Work with regional supervisors/managers to create efficient operational processes.
- Support Manager/Sr Mgmt and key point of contact for all internal audit and regulatory reviews.
- Develop, analyze, and report on metric processes/systems consistent with management.
- Provide training and development for less-experienced staff and corrective actions.
- Carry out complex initiatives/projects and/or ambiguous issues.
- Drive efficiencies through innovation and automation.
- Results-oriented; ability to successfully manage multiple tasks, take initiative to improve own/other performance, and ability to work during crisis situations.
- Ability to maintain updated knowledge of procedures, products, and activities of FT Institutional.
- Ability to develop relationships with multiple stakeholders.
- Good communication, influencing/negotiation skills, and comfortable working in a global team.
