As the Head of Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our technology platform to make continuous energy optimization simple and profitable at scale.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the evolution of the technology into a world-class product that outcompetes others in automatic and continuous performance optimization at scale, user engagement, and cost.
  • Recruit, lead, and inspire a top-notch team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement engineering strategies and processes that align with company goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the design, development, and delivery of energy optimization solutions and products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Monitor and manage project timelines, resources for successful project completion.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the energy sector to drive innovation within the company.
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure high product quality and reliability.
The Ideal Candidate

We seek a seasoned leader with a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for innovation. The ideal candidate should have:

  • 10-15 years of experience in engineering roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management position.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong technical background in scalable software development, System Design and Architecture, Database Administration, Data Structures and Algorithms, JavaScript frameworks, AWS managed services, Python, and related technologies.
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning technologies.
Bonus Points
  • Experience working in a start-up or start-up-like conditions with volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity.
  • Work experience in HVAC or Allied Industries.
