Data Engineering Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and infrastructure.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality data systems that power analytics, insights, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain robust data architectures and cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement data processing workflows using Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, or Flink.
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and governance across various databases.
  • Collaborate with analytics and engineering teams to understand data needs and optimize performance.
  • Implement data quality monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Create comprehensive documentation for data workflows and schemas.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data infrastructure role.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Proficient in SQL and experienced with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
  • Familiarity with modern data warehousing tools (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
  • Understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance practices (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

Skills:

  • Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow, Luigi, or Prefect.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and optimize system performance.
