Job Title: Data Architect

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team. As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and secure data solutions using Microsoft Fabric.

Your expertise in Azure Data Platform and Microsoft Fabric is crucial to delivering high-quality data solutions that meet our business needs.

  • You will design and oversee the architecture of Microsoft Fabric solutions, including integration with Power BI, Synapse, Data Factory, and other Azure services.
  • You will lead a team of data engineers, BI developers, and analysts in delivering scalable and secure data solutions.
  • You will collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical designs, and ensure timely delivery.
  • You will stay up to date with Microsoft Fabric features, updates, and industry trends to recommend improvements.
  • You will define and implement data ingestion, transformation, and storage strategies leveraging Lakehouses, Data Warehouses, and Real-Time Analytics.
  • You will establish data governance, security, and compliance frameworks within Microsoft Fabric.
  • You will monitor and optimize data pipelines and queries for performance and cost efficiency.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 9-12 years of experience in the field of data engineering.
  • 5+ years' experience in Azure Data Platform (ADF, Databricks, Synapse) and at least 1 year in MS Fabric (client implementation, not POC) projects.
  • Proven experience in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure Data Services (Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake).
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance.
