About This Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented litigation lawyer to join our team in Mumbai. The role involves working closely with senior lawyers and clients on diverse litigation matters, ensuring timely and effective representation.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Drafting Legal Documents: Draft pleadings, petitions, written statements, and other legal documents.
  • Legal Research: Conduct legal research and prepare case notes, opinions, and briefs.
  • Court Appearances: Appear before courts, tribunals, and regulatory authorities.
  • Case Preparation: Assist in strategy formulation and case preparation.
  • Client Liaison: Liaise with clients and keep them updated on case progress.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with procedural requirements and deadlines.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong Drafting and Research Skills: Strong drafting and legal research skills are essential for this role.
  • Litigation Knowledge: Knowledge of civil and commercial litigation procedures is required.
  • Effective Communication: Effective communication and client-handling skills are crucial for success in this role.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: An attention to detail with sound problem-solving ability is necessary.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
  • Law Graduate: A law graduate with 1–3 years of relevant litigation experience is preferred.
  • Bar Council Enrolment: Enrolled with the Bar Council is a requirement.
  • Prior Litigation Experience: Prior exposure to civil, commercial, or regulatory litigation is desirable.
