Job Title: Process Safety Engineer

 
•Competent on issues of offshore production facilities, high pressure gas processing systems and oil/water/gas separation facilities.

 
•Experience of process safety on floating production systems, LPG and LNG Storage and Treatment, Blowout Preventer.

 
•Deliverables for Conceptual, FEED and EPC projects in a process safety context.

 
•Hazardous Area Classification Schedule and Drawing preparation.

 
•Process safety design for Production systems including crude oil, produced water treatment, water injection, condensate treatment.

 
•Process safety design for Utility systems including Potable water, sea water, closed cooling water, compressed air, instrument air, nitrogen, flare and vent, closed drain, chemical injection, fuel gas treatment.

 
•Review and provide guidance for preparation of all discipline engineering and design deliverables including P&ID, datasheets.

 
•Sizing of flare network and its report using standard tools like HYSYS, FlareNet etc.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop process safety strategies for offshore production facilities and utility systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Design and implement process safety measures for production and utility systems.
  • Conduct Hazard Analysis and Operability Studies (HAZOPS) and What-If analysis.
  • Prepare and review Process Safety Reports and other deliverables.
  • Stay up-to-date with latest technologies and advancements in the field of process safety.
Requirements:
  • MSc or equivalent in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in process safety engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of FPSO operations, high pressure gas processing systems and oil/water/gas separation facilities.
  • Familiarity with risk assessment and mitigation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in HYSYS, FlareNet and other relevant software tools.
