Job Title: Senior Process Safety Professional

We are seeking an experienced Senior Process Safety Professional to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety engineering, with expertise in process safety on floating production systems, LPG and LNG storage and treatment, BOP, hazardous area classification drawings, PSV evaluation, flare network sizing, and calculations.

You will lead engineering teams at home offices and coordinate with site offices and clients, executing major capital projects while ensuring quality through adherence to company quality documents and regular checks on work done by juniors.

Key responsibilities include conducting process safety audits, developing and implementing process safety concepts, and preparing hazardous area classification schedules and drawings.

You will also review and guide preparation of discipline engineering and design deliverables, including P&ID, datasheets, process optimization studies, and process simulation modeling.

About the Role:

• 10-13 years of experience in safety engineering across FPSO, Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, and Chemical industries.\
• Proven ability to lead engineering teams at home offices and coordinate with site offices and clients.\
• Extensive experience in executing major capital projects.\
• Expertise in process safety on floating production systems, LPG and LNG storage and treatment, BOP, hazardous area classification drawings, PSV evaluation, flare network sizing, and calculations.\
• Familiarity with engineering standards such as NORSOK, DNVGL-OS, API, NFPA, ASME, BS/EN, and client standards like SHELL, ARAMCO, MOBIL, NMA, and DNV Class rules.\
• Ensuring quality through adherence to company quality documents and regular checks on work done by juniors.\
• Project management and control procedures, process safety workflows, and interdisciplinary coordination.\
• Exposure to multidisciplinary working environments and process deliverables for conceptual, FEED, and EPC projects.\
• Must-have experience in working safety design in Petrochemicals, Oil and Gas, and Chemicals, with an added advantage of hands-on experience in Specialty/Fine chemicals.\
• Preparation of hazardous area classification schedules and drawings, process safety designs for production systems, utility systems, and various safety philosophies.\
• Review and guidance for preparation of discipline engineering and design deliverables, including P&ID, datasheets, process optimization studies, and process simulation modeling.\
• Familiarity with project management tools and software.\
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.\
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.\
• Self-motivated and proactive approach to work.\
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field).\
• Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Process Safety Manager) is a plus.\
• Possess excellent organizational and time management skills.\
