Network Architect Role

This is a challenging position in which you will play a crucial part in designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure. As a Network Architect, you will need to have a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and collaboration skills.

The ideal candidate for this role will be experienced in designing and implementing network solutions that meet the organization's needs. You will oversee the deployment and configuration of network systems and ensure they are integrated seamlessly with existing infrastructure. Additionally, you will perform regular maintenance and monitoring of network systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

You will also be responsible for capacity planning, identifying future network needs, and making recommendations for upgrades as necessary. Furthermore, you will implement security protocols, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and develop disaster recovery plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Architecture: Develop comprehensive network solutions that meet our organization's management requirements, including high availability, performance, scalability, and security.
  • Implementation: Oversee the deployment and configuration of network systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Maintenance and Optimization: Perform regular maintenance, monitoring, and tuning of network systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Capacity Planning: Conduct capacity planning and forecasting to anticipate future network needs.
  • Security: Implement and enforce security protocols as necessary and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of network protocols and architecture. You should have experience in designing and implementing Cisco SDA, Cisco DNAC, and micro-segmentation.

A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Certifications in relevant technologies such as CCNP or CCIE are preferred. Experience with cloud networking solutions is also beneficial.
