Job Title: IT Network Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled IT professional to join our team as an IT Network Infrastructure Specialist. This role will play a key part in ensuring the reliability and security of our network infrastructure.

  • Responsibilities include monitoring and reporting on network performance, including availability and utilization metrics.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing firewall access and implementing IP whitelisting and blocking measures to prevent malware.
  • Maintenance of network device inventory, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Restore backups of network devices as needed.
  • Modify VLAN configurations on L2 switches.

Access Management & User Administration:

  • Deactivate domain IDs and VPNs for users no longer requiring access.
  • Review and report on admin access.

Load Balancer Operations:

  • Backup and configure load balancers.
  • Create new application rules on load balancers.

Incident & Change Management:

  • Respond to Level 1 incidents via email or phone.
  • Prepare and implement RFCs.
  • Coordinate with OEMs for troubleshooting.

Cloud & Virtualization Awareness:

  • Familiarity with AWS and Azure firewall and security features.
  • Understanding of ACI/AVS switch installation.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in network administration.

About the Job:
