About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Protection Specialist to join our team at IGT Solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about data privacy and compliance to work with a leading organization in the industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, developing, and maintaining our global data protection compliance arrangements, including policies, guidelines, and processes. They will also provide expert advice on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable local data protection laws, ensuring that our organization remains compliant and up-to-date with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and constantly review all global data protection compliance arrangements, including updating policies, guidelines, and centralizing processes.
  • Develop and maintain relevant global internal data privacy policies, records, and training programs.
  • Provide expert advice on GDPR and other applicable local data protection laws, ensuring compliance and adherence to industry standards.
  • Liaise with other business functions as necessary on cross-departmental data privacy matters.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of privacy standards, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Assist with the privacy elements of client information security audits, questionnaires, proposals, terms of engagement agreements, and other related activities.
  • Act as a liaison to the firm's Corporate Governance & Compliance in relation to global data privacy issues.
Requirements:
  • 2-6 years of experience in data governance, data privacy, and GDPR.
  • Demonstrate experience of managing data privacy issues, solid working knowledge of complex privacy concepts, principles, and standards.
  • Capable of conducting data privacy compliance reviews and audits.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and Excel skills.
