The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Architect - Data Protection who will be the guardian of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. You will ensure organizations are shielded from the ever-evolving threat landscape by assessing, analyzing, and implementing effective security measures in customer environments. Your expertise will be sought after as you design and implement security controls, policies, and procedures that leave no stone unturned when it comes to safeguarding sensitive data.

Your Responsibilities

  • Foster collaboration with clients to understand their unique security requirements and assess their current security posture.
  • Provide expert guidance and recommendations on best security practices, risk management strategies, and robust security policies.
  • Design and implement security controls, policies, and procedures that fortify defenses against emerging threats.
  • Conduct thorough security assessments, identifying potential security breaches and vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive security frameworks that ensure adherence to policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in administering data privacy controls in large IT systems dealing with personal, sensitive, financial, or transactional data.
  • MCA / B.E. / B. Tech degree or equivalent.
  • Solid understanding of applicable data privacy aspects as per Indian laws, including the IT Act 2000 and DPDP Act 2023.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Data Privacy activities, including Privacy Implementation, Privacy Impact Assessments, Data Protection Impact Assessments, Consent Management, roles as Data Protection Officers, developing Data Protection Frameworks, and familiarity with regulations such as GDPR, DPDP, CCPA, and the IT Act.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and educate employees on data privacy.
