QA Data Lead

Job Overview :

\

We are seeking a professional with 6-10 years of experience, specializing in ETL Testing, QA processes, Test Case management, Test Data management, and Azure Services.

\

Key Responsibilities

\
  • \
  • Lead the entire Quality Assurance process for data-centric projects, focusing on ETL and cloud-based solutions.\
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases and test plans for ETL processes and data pipelines.\
  • Implement and manage Test Data management strategies, ensuring data integrity and quality throughout the testing lifecycle.\
  • Conduct thorough ETL testing to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.\
  • Perform testing of solutions built on Azure Services, including data storage, processing, and analytics components.\
  • Collaborate closely with development, data engineering, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.\
  • Identify, document, and track defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.\
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and automation strategies.\

Required Skills :

\
  • \
  • 6 - 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on data testing.\
  • Expertise in ETL Testing, including data validation, data integrity checks, and transformation logic verification.\
  • In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with QA processes and methodologies.\
  • Proven ability to design, write, and manage detailed test cases.\
  • Strong experience in Test Data management techniques and tools.\
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Services related to data (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database).\
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric is highly desirable.\
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data validation and querying.\
  • Experience with various testing types (functional, integration, regression, performance).\
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.\
