Business Development Coordinator

As a Commercial Office Specialist at AspenTech, you will play a crucial role in organizing and presenting customer-facing responses, including budgetary quotes, requests for information, proposals, market assessments, and contracts.
The RoleThis position involves working closely with OSI's Sales Managers, Executive Management, Solutions Engineering, Product Management, and potential customers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- You will be responsible for defining the approach, maintaining ownership and accountability for the schedule, aligning the business position to corporate objectives, ensuring quality deliverables, and managing full authorization and approval of the final customer-facing package.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine approaches and prepare proposals and contract documents, ensuring financial details follow AspenTech's needs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external customers to provide support, administrative, and organizational services regarding proposals and contracts.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and participating in customer meetings and conference calls pertaining to proposals and contracts.
- Preparing and managing customer correspondence and communications.
- Providing up-to-date information into sales pipeline and forecasting data – accuracy and aligned with proposal solutions as iterations are negotiated.
- Facilitating the corporate authorization and approval process – adherence to corporate guidelines and commercial model.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Finance/Accounting, or related field.
- Excellent administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
- Experience in an international business environment; ability to work with customers, coworkers, partners in different countries, cultures, time zones, work styles, etc.
We offer a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
