Wind Turbine Blade Quality Expert

Description:

We are seeking a skilled professional to ensure optimal performance, durability, and safety in the field of wind turbine blades. The ideal candidate will have expertise in design, manufacturing, and quality control processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Blade Quality Control & Assurance
  • Oversight of the entire blade production process to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Inspections and quality audits at various stages of the manufacturing process.
  • Management and mechanical testing to verify strength, durability, and reliability of blades.
  • Identification and investigation of quality issues, root causes, and corrective actions.
  • Supplier & Manufacturing Oversight
  • Collaboration with suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Development and maintenance of relationships with third-party testing laboratories for certification and validation of blade quality.
  • Leadership and support for quality improvement initiatives with manufacturing teams.
  • Testing & Evaluation
  • Supervision and review of testing of blades under real-world conditions.
  • Ensuring blades undergo necessary testing protocols before deployment.
  • Interpretation of data and results to make recommendations for design improvements or production adjustments.
  • Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintenance of detailed records of blade quality inspections and test results.
  • Preparation and presentation of regular reports on blade performance and quality trends.
  • Ensure all relevant documentation is in compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support
  • Collaboration with R&D, design engineers, and production teams to implement improvements in blade design and manufacturing techniques.
  • Technical guidance and training to engineering and production teams on blade quality standards and best practices.
  • Liaison between quality teams and other departments to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with quality goals.
