Job Title: Senior Manager, IT Applications

This is a pivotal role that demands technical expertise and leadership skills. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of all academic, administrative, and enterprise IT applications at our campus.

About the Role
  • You will be accountable for managing and ensuring seamless operations of all IT applications, including Salesforce CRM & Admissions, Student Information System (SIS), Learning Management System (LMS), Library Management System, Financial ERP, HRMS, and other mission-critical applications.
  • You will drive efficiency, integration, security, and innovation in technology solutions that support faculty, staff, and students.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise applications, from deployment to performance optimization.
  • You will ensure high availability, reliability, and security of all academic and administrative applications.
  • You will oversee issue resolution, incident management, and root cause analysis for application-related problems.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • You will partner with academic leaders and administrative heads to understand requirements and deliver effective IT solutions.
  • You will act as the primary liaison with application vendors and service providers.
  • You will lead user adoption initiatives, including training and support.

Strategic Planning & Governance

  • You will define and execute the application roadmap in alignment with institutional digital transformation goals.
  • You will establish governance standards, documentation, and compliance with IT policies.
  • You will recommend and implement innovative technology solutions to enhance teaching, learning, and operations.

Team Leadership & Vendor Management

  • You will lead and mentor the application support team at campus level.
  • You will manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts/SLAs, and ensure quality service delivery.
  • You will promote a culture of service excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Integration & Data Management

  • You will drive seamless integration of CRM, SIS, LMS, ERP, HRMS, and other systems.
  • You will ensure data integrity, consistency, and accessibility across platforms.
  • You will maintain compliance with data privacy, cybersecurity, and higher education regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • You should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (Master's preferred).
  • You should have around 15 years of progressive experience in IT application management, ideally in higher education or large enterprise environments.
  • You should have expertise in managing Salesforce CRM, ERP (Finance & HR), SIS, LMS, Library Management, and related systems.
  • You should have strong experience in application integration, vendor management, and IT governance.
  • You should have demonstrated success in leading teams and managing complex projects.
  • You should have knowledge of cybersecurity, compliance, and digital transformation best practices.
