Senior Cloud Resilience Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Cloud Resilience Engineer with expertise in AWS Serverless to drive reliability and reduce toil in our cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant AWS architectures with automation and multi-region failover to ensure business continuity.
  • Apply SRE principles (SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, error budgets) to optimize system performance and minimize downtime.
  • Implement resilience patterns – retries, throttling, circuit breakers, graceful degradation – to enhance overall system reliability.
  • Configure end-to-end observability pipelines (logs, metrics, traces, events) with CloudWatch, Dynatrace, Grafana to monitor system health.
  • Develop automation and self-healing workflows using Python, Node.js/TypeScript, Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge to streamline incident response.
  • Support AIOps adoption for anomaly detection, AI-driven triage, and automated incident workflows to improve operational efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Deep hands-on experience with AWS serverless stack: Lambda, EventBridge, Kinesis, Firehose, S3, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, RDS.
  • Strong coding expertise in Python and Node.js/TypeScript for automation and development.
  • Experience in IAM, Security Groups, Secrets Manager, resiliency automation, and chaos testing to ensure system security and reliability.
  • Knowledge of ECS/EKS and data observability is a plus to enhance system capabilities.
