AWS Infrastructure Specialist

The AWS DevOps Architect plays a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining highly scalable, reliable, and fault-tolerant infrastructure utilizing AWS services.
Key Responsibilities- Architecture and Design: The AWS DevOps Architect leads the design of highly available, resilient, and scalable AWS infrastructure solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices in performance, reliability, and security.
- Infrastructure Management: The Architect oversees the maintenance of applications and infrastructure, employing advanced techniques to optimize configurations and resource utilization.
- Collaborative Leadership: Working closely with development and operations teams, the Architect defines infrastructure requirements, provides expert guidance on best practices, and drives organizational change and improvements.
- Process Improvement: Spearheading continuous enhancements in the Change Management process ensures controlled and efficient deployment of changes.
- CI/CD Development: The Architect designs and manages robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, improving application deployment and release management processes.
- Automation of Provisioning: Leading the automation of infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform ensures consistency and efficiency in deployments.
- Monitoring, Logging, and Performance Tuning: Building and managing monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack, the Architect implements robust logging and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues, and regularly performs performance tuning and resource optimization.
- Security Compliance: Conducting regular security audits and assessments of systems and the underlying infrastructure identifies vulnerabilities and enforces security best practices.
- Deployment Management: Owning the deployment process, the Architect creates detailed deployment artifacts, including Deployment/Installation plans, with the capability to plan for rollbacks.
- Knowledge Management: Documenting and maintaining up-to-date records of infrastructure configurations and changes, the Architect shares processes, procedures, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
- Stakeholder Communication: Providing comprehensive status updates, the Architect effectively communicates project progress and operational metrics to team members and stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration and Troubleshooting: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance software development and deployment processes, the Architect ensures alignment with organizational objectives. Offering technical support and troubleshooting for AWS-related issues.
- Industry Trends: Staying informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in DevOps, SRE, and cloud environments, the Architect applies this knowledge to enhance team capabilities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration and Troubleshooting: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance software development and deployment processes, the Architect ensures alignment with organizational objectives. Offering technical support and troubleshooting for AWS-related issues.
