The role of EUC Engineer encompasses platform ownership, overseeing the architecture, design, implementation, configuration, maintenance, and support of existing environments within a large-scale infrastructure. This position ensures high levels of availability, resiliency, and performance.

Key responsibilities include planning, designing, deploying, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining current environments:

  • Operating System image control (Windows and macOS)
  • Endpoint Management tools (Tanium, Intune, JAMF, and others)
  • Collaboration Tools (Zoom, Exchange, Teams, Snap, Box, Bomgar, DTEN, and others)
  • Application packaging within multiple different Unified Endpoint Management tool sets
  • Patching routines to ensure compliance mandates
  • Windows, Mac, and supported software applications
  • Adherence to ITIL methodology for Incident Response, Problem, Configuration, & Change Management
  • Change plan development and presentation to the Change Advisory Board (CAB)
  • Platform documentation and training material creation and maintenance
  • Scripting skills in Windows Command Shell, VBScript, and PowerShell
  • Effective communication and teamwork

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Digital Employee Experience platforms expertise
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields; years of relevant experience considered in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum 8 years of Endpoint Configuration Management experience and large-scale global implementations
  • Process automation and deployment for internal client systems
  • UEM experience required in planning, designing, implementing, and troubleshooting UEM environments
  • Software distribution, software packaging, and OS deployment
  • Patch downloading and deployment expertise
  • VDI environment knowledge (AWS Workspaces, VMWare, Windows Cloud VDI)
  • MacOS, JAMF, iOS, and Android understanding
  • Firewall rules and troubleshooting expertise
  • Active Directory integration, GPO management, and reporting analytics
  • In-depth Windows Desktop Operating system knowledge
  • Scripting tools proficiency (PowerShell, Command Shell Script, VBScript)
  • Experience with OS tools (MDT, Sysprep, WIM, WinPE, registry)
  • MSI packaging best practices and standards knowledge
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
