Technical Expertise and EUC Support Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Expertise and EUC Support Specialist to provide expert-level technical support, maintain and develop our organization's EUC environments.

As a key technical escalation point for critical issues, you will contribute to strategic project work, collaborating with various teams and stakeholders. Your strong background in Windows environments, Active Directory, and cloud-based VDI solutions will enable you to drive continuous improvement in EUC services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert-level 2nd and 3rd line technical support for complex EUC-related incidents and problems, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
  • Support, maintain, develop, and deploy new and existing technology within the organization's EUC environments.
  • Contribute actively to discussions on current issues and the future strategic direction for enterprise EUC services.
  • Continuously seek to improve and develop the firm's EUC service and security management, patch management, and configuration processes.
  • Act as a critical technical escalation point for unresolved EUC issues, providing advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Participate in various EUC-related project work, contributing technical expertise and hands-on support.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working as an EUC Engineer or in a similar capacity.
  • Extensive experience with Windows 10/11 operating systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Active Directory and Group Policy management.
  • Practical experience with PowerShell for automation and administration.
  • A good understanding of cloud-based Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions, specifically AWS WorkSpaces and Azure AVD (Azure Virtual Desktop).
  • Hands-on experience managing the full range of end-user devices, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
