Job Title: Resource Optimization Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Resource Optimization Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of resource management principles and be proficient in Microsoft Excel and resource management tools.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of resource allocation and ensuring data integrity in resource management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain up-to-date records of resource utilization across multiple projects and departments.
  • Collaborate with department leads to identify current and future staffing needs, ensuring alignment between resource availability and project requirements.
  • Analyze resource demand and resolve conflicts to optimize resource utilization.
  • Prepare reports on resource availability, usage, and performance metrics to inform decision-making.
  • Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding of project resources, ensuring seamless transitions.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers to understand staffing and capacity challenges, providing timely solutions.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in resource management or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and resource management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, SAP, MS Project).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
