Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Product Release Lead to own the release journey of our AI product on Google Cloud. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on technical expertise, focusing on Google Cloud, automation, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Orchestrate the end-to-end release lifecycle from planning to deployment and retrospectives.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, QA, MLOps, and Product teams to ensure smooth, reliable, and bug-free releases.
  • Lead CAB reviews and release readiness checks to minimize risk.
  • Design and manage automation-first release pipelines on Google Cloud using GKE, Cloud Build, Terraform, and Python.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud environment or configuration issues during releases.
  • Develop observability dashboards for real-time visibility into release health.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in release management with CAB meetings, Go/No-Go facilitation, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Strong Google Cloud expertise, including GKE, IAM, Networking, Storage, and Cloud Build.
  • Hands-on skills in Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and Python automation.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML product release cycles is a plus.
