Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to perform conventional aspects of mechanical handling activities under general supervision. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and conducting work that requires judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.


Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement plans for mechanical handling activities.
  • Provide technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers.
  • Travel globally to support projects and collaborate with other teams as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Mechanical or allied Engineering.
  • A minimum of 8 years relevant experience in handling concept of various equipment and packages in FPSO/Offshore facilities.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities for handling related issues with various inter-disciplines.
  • Knowledge of various handling equipment and their capabilities.
  • Ability to review and assess package drawings.

Key Requirements
  • Hands-on knowledge in 3D review software like S3D, Aveva, and NAVIS Simulate.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in following packages - Mechanical handling equipment, Deck cranes, Static equipment, Rotating equipment, Package/skid items.
