Job Description

Leasing professionals act as liaisons between internal teams, tenants, external counsel, architects, consultants, brokers, and municipalities to negotiate, organize, track, and support leasing processes.

They facilitate all leasing-related activities from inception to close, including site visits, negotiations, documentation, coordination, and administration for various aspects of the leasing process.

Leasing managers direct the daily activities of the leasing operations department in accordance with organizational policies and standards.

Key responsibilities include reviewing and negotiating lease transactions and agreements, overseeing completion of necessary paperwork, ensuring proper customer service, and managing productivity and budgetary performance.

Additionally, leasing professionals develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and profitability, monitor market trends, and maintain high networking with IPCs and leading leasing brokers.

Direct marketing or sales efforts to various corporates are also essential skills required for this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • PGDM/MBA degree
  • Certification in retail leasing (optional)
  • 5+ years of experience in leasing
