Salary Estimate

We offer a highly competitive salary package in excess of $120,000 per annum for this position, commensurate with experience.

About the Role

As a Master Data Management (MDM) Lead at ScaleneWorks, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of MDM solutions across various business markets. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of master data across all geographies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and implement data-related enhancements.

This is a senior-level role requiring 7-10 years of experience in MDM or a similar role within a finance or accounting function. You should have a proven track record of process improvement and optimization initiatives within financial data management/closure activities or related financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and improve internal controls
  • Collaborate with the Master Data Manager and cross-functional teams to identify MDM process improvements and assist in the implementation of data-related enhancements
  • Stay updated on industry trends, master data tools, and data management best practices to enhance skills and contribute to MDM process enhancement
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proficiency in using SAP S/4HANA mandatory. Familiarity with MDO Fuse and SAP MDM will be a plus.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikSense, Alteryx or other data visualization platforms to create clear and informative reports for stakeholders.
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data manipulation techniques to facilitate financial analysis and reporting.
  • Working knowledge of basic accounting practices, legalities and financial reporting requirements.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and propose solutions.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with various stakeholders, including finance teams, auditors, and management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with the capability to collaborate across departments, geographies, and cultures. Proactive attitude towards process improvement and the ability to drive change.
Education

You should hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Management, Computer Science or a related field. A professional accounting designation or certification is a plus.
