A Key Account Manager is responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of accounts, as well as customer management, sales growth, and market share.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist in solidifying monthly forecasts and numbers with internal marketing and supply chain teams.
- Meet monthly and annual sales targets and prepare review materials for accounts.
- Implement strategic initiatives in designated accounts to drive business growth.
- Collaborate with accounts to track organic growth and negotiate promotions/activations.
- Work closely with internal teams for timely promotion execution, stock management, and event coordination.
- Analyze point-of-sale data for micro-marketing opportunities.
- Provide insights on special events like new product launches.
Additional Account Management Duties:
- Evaluate promotional effectiveness and analyze customer point-of-sale information.
- Track key initiatives in the account to ensure successful execution.
- Utilize P.O.S. shipment data to inform customer presentations.
- Leverage understanding of retailers/customers to drive customer satisfaction.
- Negotiate national or regional promotions with buyers/merchandising managers.
- Drive customer marketing agenda and increase shelf share.
