Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Intelligence Analyst with strong analytical skills to identify business problems and develop solutions using data visualization tools.

The successful candidate will work closely with various partners and internal teams to understand problem statements, extract data from relevant sources, perform data cleaning, and develop automated scripts for cleaning and validation.

They will also assess data quality, provide inputs to the team to improve data collection and validation at the point of capture, and showcase insights as data visualizations that can drive decision making.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics, and at least 2-3 years of work experience involving logical thinking, data analytics, quantitative analysis, and algorithm optimization.

They should also have knowledge of database, analytics, and application programming languages such as Python, R, etc., as well as familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Email systems.

A willingness to learn on the job and experiment with different technologies is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify business problems that can be solved through data analysis and visualizations.
  • Work with various partners and internal teams to understand problem statements.
  • Extract data from relevant sources and perform data cleaning, developing automated scripts for cleaning and validation.
  • Assess data quality and identify ways to improve it.
  • Provide inputs to the team to improve data collection and validation at the point of capture.
  • Moving data between source and target systems.
  • Showcase insights as data visualizations that can drive decision making.
  • Build data repositories and maintain integrity of datasets.
  • Brainstorm ideas and create prototypes of future tools and products.
  • Write queries to fetch data from different types of data sources.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics.
  • At least 2-3 years of work experience involving logical thinking, data analytics, quantitative analysis, and algorithm optimization.
  • Understanding of database, analytics, and application programming languages such as Python, R, etc.
  • Knowledge of BI Analytics Platform provided by Zoho.
  • Knowledge to work with Microsoft Excel and Emails; knowledge of cloud would be an added advantage.
