Job Title:

Power BI Data Analyst

About the Role:

The Power BI Developer will be responsible for creating interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Microsoft Power BI. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis and Visualization
    • Create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI.
    • Connect, import, and transform large datasets from various sources.
    • Optimize data models for performance and scalability.
  • Data Management and Security
    • Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and security within Power BI reports.
    • Automate data refreshes and manage Power BI Service workspaces, apps, and permissions.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and deliver customized BI solutions.
    • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancements to existing reports and dashboards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar BI/Data Visualization role.
  • Strong expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and data manipulation.
  • Experience with data modeling, ETL, and data warehouse concepts.
  • Knowledge of Excel and other BI/analytics tools is mandatory.
