Integration Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Integration Specialist to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in API development and middleware, eager to learn and grow within a supportive environment.

As an Integration Specialist, you will contribute to building and maintaining critical integration solutions, working closely with senior architects and developers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining APIs using various platforms, with initial exposure to APIGEE.
  • Implementing integration solutions using middleware platforms such as MuleSoft and IBM Integration Bus, following architectural guidelines.
  • Applying good understanding of RESTful APIs, basic API security concepts (OAuth2.0, JWT), and principles of traffic management.
  • Working with foundational integration patterns, message queuing, and service orchestration concepts in practical applications.
  • Gaining exposure to cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and an understanding of containerization (Docker) concepts.
  • Collaborating effectively with team members, articulating technical challenges, and actively contributing to finding the best solutions for integration tasks.
  • Participating actively in Agile development cycles and learning about DevOps principles as applied to integration.

Requirements include:

  • 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in API development and/or middleware platforms.
  • Some exposure to or strong interest in learning APIGEE.
  • Good understanding of RESTful APIs, and basic concepts of API security (OAuth2.0, JWT) and traffic management.
  • Familiarity with integration patterns, message queuing, and service orchestration concepts.
  • Good communication skills and a strong desire to learn and contribute to complex technical solutions.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and an understanding of DevOps principles.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BASIC APIGEE training or certifications.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools.
  • Interest in exploring modern integration technologies like Kafka, GraphQL, or similar.
  • Prior experience in industries such as banking, healthcare, or telecom is a plus.
