Job Summary

The Purchasing Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the procurement function to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This involves developing strategic sourcing plans, managing supplier relationships, and driving process efficiencies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the purchasing team to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and implement global procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve quality.
  • Establish policies and procedures to standardize procurement operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive procurement experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven expertise in international sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Multilingual skills for international vendor management.
  • Knowledge of international logistics and customs compliance.
  • Experience in supplier risk management and business continuity planning.
