Job Title: Sponsorship Lead
Sponsorship Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will develop and execute a sponsorship strategy for live events. This includes identifying potential sponsors, building a robust pipeline, and converting opportunities into signed partnerships.
The Sponsorship Lead will craft compelling sponsorship proposals and packages aligned with brand objectives and event positioning.
This role requires strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. The ability to align sponsorship opportunities with brand objectives is crucial.
Responsibilities include leading negotiations, contract closures, and relationship management with sponsors.
The Sponsorship Lead will collaborate with internal teams to ensure sponsorship deliverables are met.
A successful candidate will stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and brand spends in the live events & experiential industry.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) include driving revenue targets through sponsorship sales and ensuring repeat business.
About the Job:
- Bachelor's degree in Events or a related field required.
- 10-15 years of experience in sponsorship sales/business development for live events, festivals, sports, entertainment, or media.
- Strong network with brand decision-makers, agencies, and corporates.
- Proven track record of closing high-value sponsorship deals.
Candidates must possess excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Prior experience with content management tools and basic knowledge of design tools is an asset.
