Our healthcare organization seeks a seasoned professional to manage its centralized pharmaceutical procurement operations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pharmaceutical procurement, preferably in hospital or healthcare settings. A strong background in vendor management and contract negotiations is essential.

The selected individual will oversee the entire procurement process, from developing and executing strategic plans to negotiating contracts with suppliers. They will also be responsible for managing vendor relationships, evaluating supplier performance, and conducting market analysis to ensure competitive pricing and product availability.

Key responsibilities include overseeing inventory and supply chain management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and implementing quality control measures. The successful candidate will also develop and manage procurement budgets, monitor cost optimization initiatives, and prepare procurement reports for management review.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a related field, with an MBA in Supply Chain/Operations Management being advantageous. Eight to twelve years of experience in pharmaceutical procurement, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting, is essential. Strong analytical and reporting skills, as well as proficiency in inventory management systems and ERP software, are also required.

Strong negotiation and vendor relationship management skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, leadership skills to manage a procurement team, and attention to detail and compliance orientation are key competencies for this role. Reports to: Operations Head of Pharmabank. Team Size: 3-5 members. Centralized Pharmabank facility with regular visits to hospital locations. Competitive package commensurate with experience and qualifications (5-9 lakhs per annum).
