Network Design and Implementation

As a Juniper Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing network solutions using Juniper Networks products. This involves configuring and deploying devices to meet the needs of our organization.

You will work closely with our team to ensure seamless integration and efficient operation of these systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing network architectures that meet performance and security requirements.
  • Configuring Juniper Controller APs and following standard installation and deployment processes.
  • Creating templates, understanding existing SSIDs, and their use.
  • Syncing with other teams and vendors for deployment and updating site details and standard procedures.

Desired skills and qualifications include:

  • Juniper WLAN Networks certifications (JNCIAXXX).
  • Knowledge of other wireless products and their use and functionality.
  • Automation working skills and scripting.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking concepts and SaaS platforms.
  • Experience with network access control (NAC) solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WiFi 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be) and wireless RF fundamentals.

They will also have experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking concepts, including VLANs, IP addressing, subnetting, routing protocols (Eigrp, BGP), and switching architectures.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
