About the Job

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing tooling and scripts for efficiency and reliability.
  2. Implementing self-healing mechanisms and runbooks for predictable operations.
  3. Designing and managing Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies; conducting periodic DR drills.
  4. Ensuring timely patching, upgrades, and compliance with security standards.
  5. Building monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks to proactively detect issues.

This position requires experience in platform engineering within financial services or capital markets.

A strong background in Linux/Windows environments and hands-on experience with key AWS services are essential.

Additionally, expertise in automation and scripting skills, as well as proficiency in monitoring/observability tools, are required.

Requirements
  • 5–10 years of experience in platform engineering within financial services or capital markets.
  • Strong Site Reliability Engineering experience focused on automation, observability, and resilience.
  • Expertise in Linux/Windows environments.
  • Hands-on experience with key AWS services.
  • Strong automation and scripting skills.
  • Proficiency in monitoring/observability tools.
