Strategic Operations Specialist

The role of Operations Manager involves overseeing the development and implementation of operational strategies to drive business growth.
- Develop and manage blend schedules for pet coke feedstock across USA and India.
- Track GPC inventories and CPC production rates; ensure alignment with shipment schedules.
- Evaluate sourcing options and logistics to minimize costs while meeting CPC quality specs.
- Build and maintain business models using AI tools and Linear Programming (LP) for predictive planning.
- Work with Commercial, Technical Services, and Operations teams globally.
- Handle SAP transactions and generate reports on production, inventory, and KPIs.
- Maximizing CPC margins by optimizing GPC blends.
- Leveraging AI for smarter planning and cost control.
- Integrating global operations for seamless production and delivery.
Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's in Chemical/Industrial Engineering or related field. A minimum of 5-8 years' experience in planning/blending, preferably in carbon/metallurgical industries, is also required.
- Strong LP modeling and analytical skills.
- SAP and advanced Excel proficiency.
- Familiarity with AI tools for data analysis and optimization.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and adaptability in a global team environment.
