The Role:

  • Monthly Data Analysis: Analyze financial data on a monthly basis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare detailed reports that provide actionable insights into financial performance.
  • Maintaining Pricing Libraries: Maintain and update pricing libraries to ensure accurate and competitive pricing strategies. Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and internal cost structures to optimize pricing models.
  • Assist with On-Request Profitability Analysis: Conduct profitability analysis for newly proposed clients, providing detailed assessments of potential financial outcomes. Evaluate cost structures, revenue projections, and profit margins to support business development efforts.
  • Ad-Hoc Monthly Reconciliation Reports: Prepare ad-hoc reconciliation reports to ensure financial data accuracy and integrity. Reconcile accounts, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Monthly Subs Reporting: Prepare and submit monthly subsidiary reports, ensuring compliance with internal and external reporting requirements. Consolidate financial data from various subsidiaries and present it in a clear and concise manner.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2 – 4 years of experience in financial data analysis, demonstrating strong ability to analyze complex financial data, prepare detailed reports, and provide actionable insights.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent knowledge and application skills in MS Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data visualization tools. Competent working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, particularly Word and PowerPoint.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional eye for detail is crucial for this role, proof-reading and enhancing written content to ensure accuracy and clarity in all financial reports and documents.
  • Communication: Superb communication skills are essential, presenting complex information clearly to stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively, prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and working well within a team environment.
  • Analytical Problem Solver: High level of analytical skills with an excellent understanding of financial data analysis, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, and providing sound recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
