Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Science Expert to join our team. Our company utilizes data science to provide fair financial access to individuals in emerging markets.

This role involves working closely with engineers, product managers, and underwriters to develop and improve machine learning models.

Responsibilities
  • Credit Decisions: Develop signals from unstructured and structured data to identify good borrowers.
  • Customer Service: Automate customer service interactions using machine learning and NLP.
  • Fraud Prevention: Identify patterns of fraudulent behavior and build models to detect and prevent these behaviors.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience building software in production environments, preferably in startups or early-stage teams.
  • Excellent programming skills, especially in Python and SQL.
  • A diverse range of data skills, including experimentation, statistics, and machine learning.
  • A deep understanding of cloud computing infrastructure and data pipelines in production.
