About Performance Testing Engineers:

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performance benchmarking, analysis, and providing insights to optimize system performance in large-scale enterprise applications. They will design and develop performance test plans, scripts, and scenarios using LoadRunner, monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot performance issues using AppDynamics and other APM tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Test Plans: Create comprehensive performance test plans that identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure application performance.
  • Analyze and Troubleshoot Issues: Use AppDynamics and other APM tools to identify performance bottlenecks and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Conduct End-to-End Testing: Perform load, stress, soak, spike, and endurance testing to ensure application scalability and response time.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to identify and resolve performance issues.
  • Generate Reports: Produce detailed performance reports highlighting areas of improvement.
  • Simulate User Activity: Design tests that simulate large-scale user activity to evaluate application performance under various loads.
  • Execute Tests: Run tests across various platforms, including web, APIs, databases, and others.
  • Maintain Test Scripts: Ensure test scripts remain up-to-date as applications evolve.
  • Best Practices: Adhere to best practices in performance testing and tuning.
