We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to lead process optimization and automation efforts within our organization.

The ideal candidate will design and implement efficient workflows for large-scale data collection processes, including geocoding, transit data management, and Points of Interest collection.

The TPM will work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline current processes, enhance automation, and drive operational excellence.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize geospatial data collection workflows across multiple products.
  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in existing processes and implement automation solutions to improve data ingestion and management.
  • Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and product managers to define and enforce best practices in data collection and quality assurance.
  • Drive the automation of manual workflows, ensuring consistency and accuracy in data processing pipelines.
  • Evaluate and integrate third-party tools, APIs, and data sources to enhance data collection efficiency.
  • Build and mentor a team of specialists, automation engineers, and data experts to support process automation initiatives.
  • Define and track KPIs related to workflow efficiency, data accuracy, and automation success.
  • Maintain documentation on workflow improvements, automation processes, and best practices for knowledge sharing across the team.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSET:

  • A minimum of 5-7+ years of experience in technical project management, process optimization, or automation within data-intensive environments.
  • A strong understanding of large-scale data workflows, data ingestion, and process optimization.
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders across engineering and business units.
  • Experience in implementing process automation tools and methodologies.
  • An ability to translate complex workflows into scalable, efficient, and automated systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making and KPI tracking.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies, sprint planning, and project execution.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience in GIS, geospatial data processing, or location-based services.
  • A basic programming background for process automation.
  • Experience working with big data technologies.
  • Exposure to cloud-based GIS platforms and APIs.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes, data pipelines, and geospatial analytics.
