Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled Geospatial Data Optimization Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in streamlining and automating geospatial data collection processes.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient workflows for large-scale geospatial data collection processes, including geocoding, transit data management, and Points of Interest (POI) collection.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance automation, drive operational excellence, and improve data ingestion and management.

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize geospatial data collection workflows across multiple products.
  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in existing processes and implement automation solutions.
  • Collaborate with GIS engineers, data analysts, and product managers to define and enforce best practices in data collection and quality assurance.
  • Work closely with the Head of GIS to establish process improvements, scalability strategies, and cost-effective solutions for handling large geospatial datasets.
  • Drive the automation of manual workflows, ensuring consistency and accuracy in data processing pipelines.
  • Evaluate and integrate third-party tools, APIs, and data sources to enhance data collection efficiency.
  • Build and mentor a team of GIS specialists, automation engineers, and data experts to support process automation.
