Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to assume the role of Health Insurance Business Development Manager.

This position is responsible for driving business development and sales of health insurance products, achieving aggressive targets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, sales, and team management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting and training a team of agents specifically for the promotion and sale of health insurance products. They will also identify and acquire new corporate clients, ensuring the successful closure of deals related to their health insurance requirements.

In addition, the candidate will create and maintain a comprehensive database and list of appointments for agents with customers, ensuring effective lead management. They will provide tailored advisory services to existing and potential clients regarding their health plan requirements and existing insurance portfolios.

Furthermore, the candidate will service existing corporate and SME clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention. They will establish and maintain strong networks and effective liaison with sales, underwriting, and product teams of health insurance companies to facilitate smooth operations and product understanding.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Business Acumen: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment, multitasking effectively, and resourceful in identifying and utilizing available tools and information.
  • Leadership: Must have worked in a health insurance company or health agency, handled a team, and managed a complete metro area (e.g., Mumbai and Sub-Urban areas).
  • Sales and Revenue: Must have handled a target-based revenue process and possess inherent zeal for problem-solving.
