Job Description

As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and improvement through data-driven insights. Your expertise as a Senior Data Scientist will be instrumental in analyzing complex business problems and developing innovative solutions.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing a deep understanding of business operations and supply chain processes to inform data-driven decisions.
  • Designing and deploying scalable data science models that address various business challenges.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to define business problems, develop algorithms, and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Analyzing data to identify opportunities for feature enhancements and designing prototypes to improve product scope.
  • Integrating machine learning models into production codebase with robust test coverage.
  • Adopting modular architecture and good software development practices to enhance overall product performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in delivering quick POCs with iterative improvement in product outcomes.
  • Strong analytical thinking and data visualization skills, with ability to creatively solve business problems.
  • Hands-on experience in deploying ML models with large-scale impact in commercial settings using standard ML Ops framework and tools.
  • Good understanding of data structures and algorithms, with proficiency in programming skills in Python, SQL, Hadoop/Hive, Spark, and R.
  • Extensive experience in developing, refining, validating, and deploying ML models to deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to produce clear and actionable documents/narratives.
