As a critical link in Orkla India's success story, you will be responsible for cultivating deep consumer connections with iconic brands MTR Foods and Eastern Condiments. These household names are synonymous with tradition, taste, and trust in Indian kitchens.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage stock replenishment in assigned supply chain areas to ensure seamless operations.
  • Define safety stock norms and maintain optimal stock levels in all CFAs to manage demand and supply uncertainties.
  • Deliver fill rates at all CFAs across the country by coordinating with logistics teams.
  • Ensure on-time finished goods delivery of consumer promotions, new launches, and season plans in alignment with demand and supply teams.
  • Maintain high stock freshness across all CFAs and work on strategies to reduce Stock Obsolete Below Economic Order Quantity (SLOB).
  • Coordinate between demand and supply teams to align and ensure stock availability.
Main Tasks and/or Projects:
  • Monitor daily stock availability and distribution planning for all CFAs to identify potential bottlenecks.
  • Align with logistics teams on dispatch schedules and release dispatch plans to optimize transportation costs.
  • Ensure high truck utilization for vehicle movements and reduce transportation costs by implementing efficient routing strategies.
  • Ensure on-time dispatches and manage stock levels in CFAs to avoid sales loss or stockouts.
  • Proactively look at current gaps in service levels (case fill, delivery performance, service network) and suggest improvement plans to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Align New Product Development (NPD), promotion, and season plans with demand teams and ensure distribution within timelines.
  • Maintain required stock freshness in all CFAs and highlight SLOB risks to ensure proactive inventory management.
  • Work on action plans to reduce SLOB generation and improve overall supply chain resilience.
  • Provide forward requirement visibility to supply teams to ensure stock availability and support just-in-time production.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.

Required education and qualification: MBA - Operations/B.E., Supply Chain, Planning, Customer Service in Supply; 2-4 years of work experience in Supply Chain, Planning & Distribution in FMCG industry.
