Job Title:

Head - Supply Chain Specialist

\Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will oversee procurement, logistics, and international trade operations ensuring efficient import of raw materials and export of finished goods.

\Key Responsibilities:\

  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to source high-quality raw materials from domestic and international suppliers.\
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to optimize supply chain costs.\
  • Oversee the end-to-end import process ensuring timely customs clearance and cost-effective transportation.\
  • Manage all export logistics ensuring compliance with international trade laws and regulations.\
  • Optimize freight and shipping strategies to minimize costs and improve efficiency.\
  • Implement best practices in transportation planning, 3PL partnerships, and route optimization.\
  • Ensure accurate demand forecasting to maintain optimal inventory levels.\
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives in procurement, logistics, and trade operations.\
  • Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team including procurement, logistics, and compliance professionals.\
  • Foster a culture of accountability, efficiency, and innovation within the supply chain function.\\
  • Collaborate with finance, production, and sales teams to align supply chain strategies with business objectives.\\
  • Stay updated on global trade regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements impacting supply chain operations.\\
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies for supply chain disruptions, currency fluctuations, and trade barriers.\\
  • Implement supplier audit programs to ensure ethical sourcing and regulatory compliance.\\
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and sustainability standards in procurement and logistics.\\
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.\
