Cloud Systems Specialist

Job Overview:

We're looking for a highly skilled Cloud Systems Specialist to support and maintain our Google Cloud Platform environments. As a key team member, you will be responsible for the deployment and management of virtual machines and cloud resources.

Your primary tasks will involve automation and development work using Python scripting, collaborating with colleagues to resolve complex cloud-related issues, managing data operations involving SQL and BigQuery, contributing to ongoing cloud projects, and ensuring the security and compliance of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and manage virtual machines on GCP
  • Develop and implement automation scripts using Python
  • Maintain cloud infrastructure and resources
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve technical issues
  • Manage data operations involving SQL and BigQuery

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Strong Linux administration skills
  • Proficient in Python scripting
  • Automation support experience
  • Hands-on experience with VMs, SQL, and BigQuery
